This time we take you to the largest city in northern Thailand – Chiang Mai. The weather here is always cooler than the rest of the country and has plethora of things to see and things to do. First we will start exploring Thailand in Bangkok and Pattaya with cultural city tours then will head to Chiang Mai in this tour.
The beauty of the mountains, hill tribe villages, botanical gardens and much more are awaiting you in this tour.
3 Hours Before Flight Time
Once you arrive Bangkok, we will meet at the airport and head to our hotel. It’s time to rest before the dinner. Then we will have the dinner at one of our favorite local restaurant before we head to Asiatique – an open air night market where the old warehouses have been refurbished and transformed into a shopping complex. You can enjoy a leisure stroll along the riverside while shopping from variety of stores in here.
We will start to the day with breakfast at our hotel. Then we will head to Pattaya City. Our first destination at Pattaya is World Gems Collection. We will have a chance to see how jewelry masters form the gems and create unique masterpieces. The gems here are internationally certified rubies, sapphires, emeralds, diamonds. You will have time to go shopping here. Next station is the Pattaya Beach. After the lunch, we will go to Botanic Garden. We will be welcomed by Thai Dance and Elephant Show here. After the shows, it’s time to go around this beautifully landscaped garden. Our last destination before dinner is the 130 meters high Budha Mountain where a huge golden Buddha image is depicted on then we will go back to our hotel.
After having breakfast at the hotel, it’s time to enjoy an orientation walk of Bangkok’s city center. First, we will stop by at Wat Arun – The Temple of Dawn which is covered with colorful glazed porcelain tiles and seashells. After the unique attractions in Wat Arun such as giant statues, the Ordination Hall, and the Bell Tower our next stop is Watt Pho where the 46-meter Reclining Buddha laid inside. Optionally you can stop by at Grand Palace where was a former residence for King Rama I to King Rama V with an optional self-pay ticket. After we have lunch at River Walk, it’s time to walk through China Town where you can find a plenty of gold shops, Chinese herb shop, fruit stalls, and Chinese restaurants. Finally, we will have our dinner at highest building in Thailand – Bayoike Sky Tower – while enjoying the spectacular view of Bangkok and beyond the metropolis, up to the Gulf of Thailand.
We will check out from the Hotel in Bangkok then fly to Chiang Mai after the breakfast. We will check in our hotel in Chiang Mai. You are free at leisure to relax on your own. After the dinner we will head to the biggest night safari in the world with exotic 134 species with over 1,400 wildlife. There are also performances of animals, actors, musical fountain, multi-media water curtains, and animal feeding and conservation after the safari. Then we will back to hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel we will head to Doi Suthep Hill Temple which is must see if you visit Chiang Mai. This temple was built around 1383 and is beautiful with many stunning statues, sections and courtyards. The view of Chiang Mai from here is just phenomenal as well. After the lunch we will head to famous home industries and experience how a souvenirs and handicrafts are being made such as Thai silk, umbrella, silverware, lacquerware, and teakwood carving. After have our dinner, we will back to the hotel.
At low tide, we will stop by between Chicken Island with the two tiny islands of Koh Mor and Koh Tub, where you will have the opportunity to walk along the sandbar that links the three islands together. This is also known as “separated sea”. Next we will head to Koh Poda which is famous for its white beaches and turquoise water. Once we arrived there you will recognize the huge rock in front of it has been featured on countless postcards, screensavers, and tourist brochures. You can’t miss the chance of snap your own photo here. The last destination before the lunch is Phra Nang Cave Beach which is inaccessible by road also is considered to be one of the most beautiful strips of sand in the world – at least when it is not crowded with boats and people. Finally we will stop by Koh Gai for lunch and enjoy swimming and snorkeling among coral reef and Fish. After all it’s time to back to Ao Nang Beach and transfer back to hotel
* Please be informed that there are a couple of days each month where a low tide stop is not possible, due to the tide times; however you can still walk part of the way out into the sea. National park fees are also not included in this tour.
Our first destination is Elephant Camp after the breakfast at the hotel. You will see how smart are the elephants while they are performing giving tasks by their mahouts. It’s lunch time after riding elephant through the jungle and return to the camp with ox cart. Next we will head to Orchid Farm where we will find chances to witness the beauties of different types of orchids as well as colorful butterflies. Finally you will have free time to relax on your own until the excellent Thai dinning experience, a traditional Lanna Khantoke dinner.
It’s end of your vacation. You will be transferred to Airport after having breakfast at the hotel.
